Installing The Left Front Side Panel

• Position the bumper guide (1) in the installation position on the headlight.
• In the case of a removed headlight, install the bumper guide (1) on the side panel.

• Install the side panel in the sequence shown with the help of a second person.
• Position side panel in the area of the A-pillar (1).
• Position the side panel at the top of the A-pillar (2) and on the headlight (3).
• Screw in all screws on the side panel until it is just about still possible to shift the side panel.
  NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
  The gap dimensions form the basis for these repair instructions and must be observed without fail.

• Adjust gap dimensions.
  NOTE: To provide a better overview: Schematic diagram with partially hidden components.
• Clip in the detents (1) of the bumper guide (2) on the side panel.

• Tighten down screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

  Screw M6	Tightening torque	8 Nm

• Open the front door.

  Pull the sealing (1) down slightly in the direction of the arrow.

• Tighten down screw (2).

• Close front door.
• Tighten down screws (1).
