- Secure the vehicle hoist against lowering and lifting.
- Make sure that the vehicle does not lift off the mounting plates on the vehicle lift.

- Loosen screw (1) .
- Guide out and remove holder (2) .
- Unlock and loosen connector (3) .
- Feed out the positive battery cable (4)
from the clamps (5)
and set it aside.CAUTION: Component with heavy weight .
Injury hazard!- Note component's center of gravity.
- Support component using a jack.
- Secure component against falling off the jack.
- Support engine with a suitable jack.
- Loosen screws (1) .
- Loosen screw (2) .
- Guide out and remove holder (3)

- Unscrew bolts (1) from transmission.
- Unscrew bolts (2) to (20) .
- Detach the oil pan in area (1)
with cut-out carefully
.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Increased force may be necessary during disassembly because the component is bonded with liquid sealing compound. - Position standard mounting lever (1) at the provided point between crankcase (3) and oil pan (2) .
- Detach the oil pan (2) with a standard mounting lever (1) from the crankcase (3) carefully in the direction of the arrow.
