Installing the positive battery cable from the battery to the starter

• Guide in and install the positive battery cable at the clamps (1).

• Feed the positive battery cable (2) in on the starter and install.
• Tighten nut (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Battery positive lead to starter
  M8	tightening torque	135 Nm

• Insert and install sealing cap (2).
• Install sealing cap (2) in the direction of the arrow.
• Connect and lock the connector (1).
• Make sure the connector (1) engages audibly.

• Insert and install the holder (2).
• Tighten down screw (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Holder to oil pan
  M6	Tightening torque	8 Nm

• Insert and install the positive battery cable (3) at the alternator.
• Tighten nut (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Positive battery cable to alternator
  M8	tightening torque	19 Nm

• Guide in and install cover (1).
• Secure the positive battery cable (3) at the clamps (4).
• Guide in and install the positive battery cable (4) at the partition panel (5).
• Tighten the battery positive terminal (3).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Positive battery terminal to battery
  M6	Tightening torque	5 Nm

• Guide in and install the positive battery cables (2).
• Tighten nuts (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Positive battery cable to positive battery terminal
  M8	Tightening torque	15 Nm

• Insert and install the tension strut (2).
• Tighten down screws (1).

  Tension strut on shock tower/battery tray
  M8	tightening torque	19 Nm

• Position the cover (2).
• Tighten down screw (1).
