Installing the knock sensor at cylinders 3 to 4

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
When installing the knock sensors, the tightening torque must be observed.
Non-compliance with the tightening torque can lead to malfunction.

Clean the contact surface of the knock sensor on the cylinder head.
Insert and install the knock sensor (3).

Tighten down screw (2).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Knock sensor to crankcase
M8x30	tightening torque	215 Nm

Connect and lock the connector (1).
Make sure the connector (1) engages audibly.
Connect and lock the connector (1).
Make sure the connector (1) engages audibly.

Connect and lock the connector (1).
Make sure you can hear the connectors (1) and (2) engage.
