Replacing left engine support arm (S55 engine)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Secure ENGINE IN INSTALLATION POSITION .
• Remove THROTTLE BODY .

Removal: 

Release screw (1) and disconnect holder from engine support arm.

Release screw (2) and disconnect holder from engine support arm.

Release screws (3).

Slightly raise engine and remove engine support arm with engine mount.

Graphic shows: right side.

Mark engine support arm and engine mount in one plane.

Transfer identification to the new component.

Slacken nut (1).

Installation:

Use nut (1) to join engine support arm and engine mount aligned with mark.

Tighten nut (1).

Tightening torque 22 11 2AZ .

Install engine support arm.

Insert screws (3) and tighten.

Install holder on engine support arm, position and tighten screw (2).

Install holder on engine support arm, position and tighten screw (1).

Lower engine.

Tightening torque 22 11 3AZ .

Required follow-up work: 

• Installing the THROTTLE BODY .
