67 11 555 Removing and installing/replacing servo drive for tank filler flap

Saloon/Sedan, Coupe:

Remove right luggage compartment wheel arch trim in rear area. See 51 47 161 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRUNK WHEEL ARCH TRIM ON RIGHT (TOURING)

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Slacken screws (2).

Feed out servo drive for tank filler flap (3) towards rear and pull in direction of arrow out of gaiter (4).

touring:

Remove flap in right luggage compartment wheel arch trim. See 51 47 172 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FLAP IN TRUNK TRIM PANEL, LEFT OR RIGHT (TOURING)

Unhook pull strap for emergency actuator (1) in direction of arrow from guide (2).

Remove fluid reservoir for rear window washer system and place to one side. See 61 62 130 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING WATER RESERVOIR FOR REAR WINDOW WASHING SYSTEM

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Slacken screws (2).

Feed out servo drive for tank filler flap (3) towards rear and pull in direction of arrow out of gaiter (4).

compact:

Disconnect emergency actuator for tank cap. See 51 47 161 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRUNK WHEEL ARCH TRIM ON RIGHT (TOURING)

Fold down sound insulation.

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Slacken screws (2).

Feed out servo drive for tank filler flap (3) towards rear and pull out in direction of arrow.

Convertible:

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Slacken screws (2).

Feed out servo drive for tank filler flap (3) towards rear and pull out in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Insert servo drive for tank filler flap (1) in direction of arrow into gaiter (2).

Replacement:

Remove pull strap for emergency actuator (1) in direction of arrow from servo drive for tank filler flap (2).
