Removing and installing/replacing the fuel injector for water injection (M4 GTS)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove the CHARGE AIR DUCT ON THE THROTTLE VALVE .

Removal: 

Unlock all the connectors of the fuel injectors for water injection and pull off.

While releasing screws (1) ensure that the spacer sleeves do not fall down. 

Release screws (1).

Release the water lines from the fuel injectors for water injection.

Unlock locks (2) and remove the fuel injectors for water injection.

Installation: 

Install the fuel injectors for water injection and lock with locks (2).

Connect the water lines to the fuel injectors for water injection.

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 13 64 1AZ .

Required follow-up work: 

• Install CHARGE AIR DUCT ON THROTTLE VALVE .
