Removing and installing/replacing charge air duct of cylinder 4-6 (S55 engine)

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Remove ACOUSTIC COVER .
• Remove right-hand INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .

Removal: 

Unfasten hose clamp (1).

Release screw (3).

Remove the charge air line (2).

Installation: 

Insert and install the charge air line (2).

Installation note: 

The gaskets and connections on the charge air pipe must be installed dry and free from grease.

Tighten hose clamp (1).

Tightening torque: 11 61 4AZ .

Tighten screw (3).

Tightening torque: 11 61 3AZ .

Required follow-up work: 

• Install right INTAKE FILTER HOUSING .
• Install the ACOUSTIC COVER .
