Removing and installing/replacing trim strip on soft top compartment lid (M4 Convertible)

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Necessary preliminary tasks:

NOTE: Shown removed here for purposes of clarity.

Carefully detach the trim strip (1) from the clip (2) and remove it.

Installation note:

Replace faulty clips (2).

Start by inserting the trim strip (1) with the side seal (3), then clip it into place.
