Removing and installing/replacing pan for CFRP bucket seat (GTS only)
Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove FRONT SEAT (CFRP BUCKET SEAT) .
Attention!
Sensitive CFRP surfaces!
Protect CFRP surfaces from being scratched before removal!
Removal:
Carefully heat up microencapsulated screws (1) to max. 90°.
Release screw (1).
NOTE:
Replace screws (1) after each dismantling.
Carefully heat up microencapsulated screws (1) to max. 90°.
Release screws (1).
Feed out the CFRP pan (2) with an auxiliary person and place to one side.
NOTE:
Replace screws (1) after each dismantling.
Installation:
NOTE:
The screw position of the CFRP seat pan can be freely selected. The CFRP pan is mounted in position (1) ex works.
Position CFRP seat pan (2) with an auxiliary person and screw in the screws (1) a few turns.
Screw-in the screws (1) by several turns.
Tighten all the screws (1) of the CFRP seat pan in the following order:
- Front left/right
- Rear left/right
Tightening torque 52 10 5AZ .
Required follow-up work:
- Install FRONT SEAT (CFRP BUCKET SEAT) .
