Replacing left or right front door trim panel (M4 Coupe, M4 Convertible)

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Remove DOOR TRIM PANEL .

The following parts must be fitted on the new door trim panel (if necessary, as a new part):

• DOOR OPENER  (always fit new part)
• ARM SUPPORT .
• DOOR HANDLE .
• SPEAKER COVER .
• LIGHT STRIP .

Depending on version: 

• LED for door opener
• FOOTWELL LIGHT
• Crashpad (US version only)

Version with footwell light: 

Cut out and fold template (1) in accordance with the markings.

Place template (1) between the clips (2).

Mark cut-out (3).

Remove template (1) and saw out marked cut-out (3).

A special ELECTRIC CUTTER  may be used together with a straight knife for sawing.
