When replacing the center console trim: Remount the operating facility in the center console

Preliminary work

Remove the operating facility in the center console
- Release operating facility in the center console (1) from the latch mechanisms (arrows) with the special tool 0 493 681 (64 1 020) .
- Remove the operating facility in the center console (1) from the center console trim (2).
Install the operating facility in the center console
- Position operating facility in the center console (1) correctly and engage it in the center console trim (2).
