Replacing rear left or right door window (4' Series Gran Coupe Sedan)

Special tools required:

WARNING: Danger of injury!

Carry out work on the power windows only when the power window motor is de-energized (unplug connector).

Necessary preliminary work:

Slacken multipoint head cap screws (1) on ring gear with special tool 51 3 240.

Tightening torque 51 35 3AZ .

NOTE: Slacken multipoint head cap screws on ring gear (1) until they can be easily removed from inside by hand.

NOTE: For better schematic diagram/mapping without speaker.

Open door window glass until multipoint head cap screws (1) are accessible.

IMPORTANT: Danger of injury!

Disconnect plug connection (2) at power window motor (pinch hazard).

Release multipoint head cap screws (1).

NOTE: Door window glass (3) remove for purposes of clarity.

Raise holder (1) at tab (2) and remove door window glass (3) in upward direction.

Installation note:

Make sure door window glass (1) is correctly seated on holder (2) and window guide (3).

Carry out function check on power window regulator and anti-trap mechanism.

If necessary, NORMALIZE power window regulator.
