Removing and installing/replacing funnel for spring support (4' Series Gran Coupe Sedan)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove D-PILLAR TRIM PANEL 

Danger of injury! 

Support tailgate in fully opened position with suitable apparatus.

DISASSEMBLE  ball socket (1) with clamp (2).

Remove clip (1).

Unclip funnel (2) from clips (3).

Release funnel (1) from gaiter (2) and remove upwards and out.

Release retaining lugs (3) and remove gaiter (2) upwards and out.

Installation note: 

Assemble funnel (1) and gaiter (2) before installation.
