The sealing surfaces must be free of oil, grease and cleaning agents.

- Clean sealing surface (1).
- Check fitting sleeves in marked area for damage, replace if necessary.
The sealing surfaces (1) must be clean and free from grease.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The processing time of the liquid sealing compound can be at a maximum of 10 min.
Commissioning of the assembly is not possible until 25 minutes after the processing time.
Non-observance can lead to leaks in the assembly.

- If a sealing bead (1)
protrusion is present and the sealing bead is not damaged, the coolant pump can be installed again with the existing sealing bead (1).
The sealing bead (1) is bonded on the coolant pump.
- If the sealing bead (1) is damaged: Remove sealing bead.
- Apply sealing compound.
The sealing bead must have a height of approximately 2 mm to 2.5 mm.
- Have the special tool 2 469 803
ready.
- Position the sealant (1) on special tool 2 469 803 as shown.

- Position the component carrier (5) on the fitting sleeves.
- Tighten the screws (4).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Attach vacuum hose (3).
- Position the holder and tighten the bolt (2).
- Tighten down screw (1).
- Clip the coolant line into the clamp (1).
- Clip coolant hose into the holder (1).
- Clip coolant hose into the holder (2).
- Detach the mounting (2) of the coolant hose.
- Connect the coolant hose and lock the clamp (3).
