11 12 040 Removing and installing/replacing all ignition coils and injector shafts (PHEV)

• Observe SAFETY INFORMATION for working with electric vehicles.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove CYLINDER HEAD COVER .
• Remove all INJECTORS .

Removal: 

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque: 11 12 6AZ .

Remove injector slot (2).

Installation: 

Part:  Gasket

Replace gasket (2).

Check fitting bushes (1) for damage.

Position injector shaft (2).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque: 11 12 6AZ .

Required reworking: 

• Install CYLINDER HEAD COVER .
• Install ALL INJECTORS .

Assemble engine.
