51 49 080 Removing and installing/replacing cover for loading edge (at tailgate lower section)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Lift off cover (1), slacken screw and remove handle (2).

Tightening torque 51 24 6AZ .

Lever out cover (3) and release screw underneath.

Tightening torque 51 49 9AZ .

Installation note:

Replace faulty covers (1 and 2).

Loosen cover (1) at clips (2) and carefully remove.

Installation note:

Replace faulty clips (2).
