11 23 010 Removing and installing/replacing vibration damper (PHEV)

Special tools required: 

WARNING: High-voltage system - danger to life 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Removal: 

Fit special tool 2 409 707 onto central bolt.

Tighten bolt (1).

If necessary, crank engine in direction of rotation until special tool 2 409 707 lines up with bore hole in engine block.

Release bolts (1) using suitable tool.

The special tool must be used to release all the bolts (1).

Remove special tool.

Remove vibration damper.

Installation: 

Position vibration damper.

Join screws (1).

Fit special tool 2 409 707 onto central bolt.

Tighten bolt (1).

If necessary, crank engine in direction of rotation until special tool 2 409 707 lines up with bore hole in engine block.

Use a suitable tool (2) to tighten the bolts (1).

Tightening torque 11 23 1AZ .
