51 16 225 Removing and installing/replacing decorative trim on center console on left or right

Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Release screws (1).

First release decorative strip (1) from lower catches (2) using special tool 00 9 327 .

Then lift upwards to release from clips (3) and maneuver out rearwards.

Installation note:

Replace faulty clamps (3).

Installation note:

Guide (1) must not be missing or damaged.

Guide (1) must be correctly positioned in center console during refitting.

Replace defective clips (2).
