Removing and installing/replacing rear center console cover (X5 M)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove all SIDE CARPETS ON CENTER CONSOLE .
NOTE:
Center console shown removed here for better overview.
Release screws (1) on left and right.
Slightly press latch mechanism (2) to left and right Inward and unclip the trim (3) backward.
Unlock associated plug connections and disconnect.
Installation note:
Make sure wiring harnesses are correctly routed.
Replacement (depending on version):
- Remount POWER SOCKET IN CENTER CONSOLE (REAR) .
- Remount CONTROL PANEL OF REAR PASSENGER COMPARTMENT AIR CONDITIONING .
- Remount the STORAGE COMPARTMENT .
