Removing and installing/replacing base plate (X5 M)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove CENTER ARMREST STORAGE COMPARTMENT .
• Fold up base plate

Remove rubber grommet (1).

Release screws underneath.

Unfasten screws (2).

Remove cover (3) in direction of arrow.

Unlock and open cable clip (1).

Release base plate (4) from latch mechanisms (2).

Feed out cable (3).

Remove base plate (4).

Installation note: 

Ensure correct cable routing.

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Feed out associated cables.

Remove base plate.

Installation note:
