32 41 333 Replacing Pressure Line For Dynamic Drive (Line Part 2) (N63/S63)
DANGER OF INJURY if oil comes into contact with eyes and skin!
Close off pipe connections with seal plugs.
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of hydraulic fluid in a suitable collecting vessel.
Necessary preliminary work:
- Draw off and dispose of hydraulic fluid from oil reservoir
- Remove UNDERBODY PROTECTION COMPLETELY
- Remove REINFORCEMENT PLATE
- Partially remove FRONT RIGHT WHEEL ARCH COVER (REAR SECTION)
Release hexagon socket screws from flange (1).
Tightening torque: 32 41 16AZ
Seal pressure lines with suitable seal plugs.
Installation note:
Make sure pressure line is laid without tension and with sufficient spacing to adjoining components.
Release nut (1) and remove pressure line from decoupling element (2).
Tightening torque: 32 41 7AZ .
Installation note:
Replace self-locking nut.
Make sure pressure line is laid without tension and with sufficient spacing to adjoining components.
Release screws (1) and remove heat shield (2).
Tightening torque: 32 41 14AZ .
Release screw (1).
Tightening torque: 32 41 7AZ .
Release screw (2) and remove holder (3).
Installation note:
Make sure pressure line is laid without tension and with sufficient spacing to adjoining components.
Release banjo bolt (1).
Tightening torque: 37 14 15AZ .
Seal pressure lines with suitable seal plugs.
Remove pressure line (2).
Installation note:
Hydraulic lines are not permitted to contact each other or adjoining components.
After installation:
- Fill and bleed HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
- Check pipe connections for leaks
- Carry out INITIAL DYNAMIC DRIVE OPERATION
