To avoid serious damage to the rear axle final drive, it is essential to use only approved gearbox oils in the rear axle final drive. Refer to: REAR AXLE - OPERATING FLUIDS
To avoid serious damage to the rear axle final drive, it is essential to use only approved gearbox oils in the rear axle final drive. Refer to: REAR AXLE - OPERATING FLUIDS
Loosen screws (1).
Remove cover (2).
Open screw plug (1).
Check oil level.
If necessary, pour in final drive oil up to lower edge of opening for screw plug (1).
Replace screw plug (1) with O-ring.
Parts: Plug
Apply screw plug (1).
Tightening torque, refer to: 33 11 1AZ .
Position cover (2).
Tighten down screws (1).
Tightening torque, refer to: 33 31 8AZ .
