24 35 567 Replacing speed sensor (input) (AISIN F22AW)

IMPORTANT: After completion of work, check TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL.
Make a note of drained ATF quantity.

IMPORTANT: Use only the approved automatic transmission oil in this automatic transmission. Refer to: AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - OPERATING FLUIDS
Otherwise the automatic transmission may incur extensive damage!
Do not drain oil before the transmission has cooled down.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove the HYDRAULIC SHIFT UNIT .

Removal:

Unlock connector (2) and remove.

Release screw (3).

Remove sensor (1).

Installation:

Install sensor (1) and fasten with screw (3).

Connect and lock connector (2).

IMPORTANT: Coat sealing ring with clean transmission oil.

Tightening torque, refer to: 24 35 1AZ .

Required follow-up work:

Install the HYDRAULIC SHIFT UNIT .
