Remove door lock

Preliminary work 

• Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
• Refer to REMOVING THE WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP ON THE FRONT DOOR  .
• Refer to REMOVING THE MIRROR TRIANGLE COVER .
• Refer to REMOVING THE DECORATIVE STRIP FROM THE DOOR TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVING THE MODULE BRACKET FROM THE FRONT DOOR .
• Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR WINDOW GLASS .
• Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLE .

• Loosen screw (1).
• Remove the attachment hood (2).

• Loosen screw (1).

• Release the soft-close motor (1) from the door.
• Disconnect the plug connection at the drive for the soft-close automatic function (1).

• Unclip locking rod (1).
• Loosen screws (3) and (4).
• Disconnect the plug connection from the door lock (2).
• Guide out the door lock (2) together with the outer door handle support.
