Removing refrigerant line between the air conditioning compressor and the air conditioning condenser

When the engine is stopped after the completion of trip, it may be necessary to run the electric fan. In rare cases, operation of the electric fan can last up to 11 min. This protects the components. In this case, replacing the electric fan will not remedy the problem!

- Loosen screws (1).
- In Version A:
Release the latch mechanisms (2) on the air conditioning condenser (1).
- In Version A:
Detach the retaining strap (1).
Loosen the hose support (2).
- Loosen screw (1).
- Remove the refrigerant line (2).
- In Version B:
Unlock the latch mechanisms (1) on the left and right.
Push the air conditioning condenser (2) slightly upwards.
- In Version B:
Push condenser (1) in direction of arrow and feed out on the guide pin (2).
- Loosen screw (1).
- Remove refrigerant line (2) from the air conditioning condenser (3).
- Release screw (1) on air conditioning compressor (2).
- Slacken screw (1) and push air conditioning compressor (2) slightly forwards.
- Release screws (1) and remove refrigerant line (2).
- Feed out and remove the refrigerant line (1) completely.
