- Support hood/trunk lid in fully open position with the aid of a suitable device.

- Slacken the bolts (1) until the striker (2) is barely adjustable and self-centered itself.
- Close tailgate.
- Open tailgate.
- Tighten the screws (1).NOTE: When the tailgate is closed, the striker must not touch or scrape against the tailgate lock. Watch out for scratches!TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Striker to body screw Tightening torque 19 Nm - Adjust both stop pads (1) by turning them.
