Mount both trim pieces for the rear window frame on the side

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Install the trim for the rear window frame on the side

Check the clips (1) on the trim (2) for the side rear window frame for damage; replace if necessary.

Check

Check the latch mechanisms (1) and (4) on the trim (5) for the side rear window frame for damage.

Result

» The latch mechanisms (1) to (4) are damaged.

Measure

Replace the trim (5) for the side rear window frame.

Clip in the trim (1) for the side rear window frame with the clips (2) into the latch mechanisms (3) to (5).
