Removing and installing/replacing vibration absorber (AWD) (X2 xDrive 28i 2018-2023, X2 M35i 2019-2022)

Version A:

Release screw (1).

Remove vibration absorber (2).

Position new vibration absorber (2) on cross member.

Part: Replace screw (1).

Tighten down screw.

Tightening torque 33 31 5AZ .

Version B:

Release screw (1).

Remove vibration absorber (2).

Position new vibration absorber (2) on cross member.

Part: Replace screw (1).

Tighten screw (1).

Tightening torque 33 31 6AZ .

Vibration absorber on the side member/body on the rear left and right:

Only for F39 China vehicles from 09/2019-09/2020

Remove the vibration absorber (1) and washer (2).

It is essential to install a new vibration absorber (1) with a washer (2).

Part: Replace screw (1).

Tightening torque 33 31 9AZ .
