Installing sound insulation on front door

Check
- Check the sound insulation for damage.
Result
» The sound insulation is damaged.
Measure
- Replace the sound insulation.
- Route the butyl rope with 4 mm (sourcing reference BMW Group Parts) along the current layout of the butyl rope (1).
- Heat the butyl rope (1) with a hot air blower.
- Slide the cable (2) slightly to the side.
- Press the sound insulation (3) hard along the mark (1) on the inner door panel.
