Removing the front seats on the left and right

NOTE:
Perform the steps on the left and right side.
Removing the front strap fitting
- Slide the cover (1)
on the seat belt (2)
upward.
- Turn the strap fitting (2) toward the rear.
- Carefully pull the lock plate (1) outwards in the direction of arrow and simultaneously feed out the strap fitting (2) to the front.
- Pull strap fitting (2)
outward to remove.
- Fully move the seat backwards.
- Loosen screws (1)

- Fully move the seat forwards.
- Loosen screws (1)

Disconnect all battery negative leads

Scratches, surface damage .- Protect working area.
- Handle tools and components carefully.
- Cover the door sill using protective covers.
- Place the front seat fully to the rear and disconnect the plug connector (1)

Heavy component .
Heavy components can lead to injury or damage .- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Remove the front seat with the assistance of an support person.
