Removing the catalytic converter (engine removed)

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.
If installed: Removing the differential pressure sensor with the pressure line
- Unlock the detents (1) carefully.
- Guide out and remove the cover (2) .
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Disconnect the pressure hose (2) .
- Loosen screw (3).
- Feed out differential pressure sensor (4) and remove.
- Have the special tool 5 A19 557
ready.
- Version A
Release the union nut (1) with special tool 5 A19 557 .
Feed the pressure hose (2) out of the holder (3) and remove.
- Loosen V-band clamp (1) .
- Loosen the nuts (2)

- Remove the catalytic converter (1)

- Have the special tool 5 A19 557
ready.
- Version A
Release the union nut (1) with special tool 5 A19 557 .
Feed the pressure hose (2) out of the holder (3) and remove.
- Loosen V-band clamp (1) .
- Loosen the nuts (2)
