Installing the catalytic converter (engine removed)

- Replace seal (1)
on catalytic converter.
Parts: Seal
- V-band (1)
clamp.
Parts: V-band clamp
- Position catalytic converter (1)

- Tighten the V-clip (1)
.Tightening torques
V-ribbon clip of catalytic converter to exhaust turbocharger V-ribbon clip Replace V-ribbon clip. tightening torque 13 Nm - Tighten the nuts (2)

Catalytic converter to holder M8 Replace nuts. tightening torque 19 Nm If installed: Installing the differential pressure sensor with the pressure line
- Keep the special tool 5 A19 557
ready.
- Version A
Feed in and install the pressure line (2) in the holder (3) .
Tighten the union nut (1) with the special tool 5 A19 557 .
- Guide in and install differential pressure sensor (4) .
- Tighten down screw (3)

Differential pressure sensor to holder screw Tightening torque 4 Nm - Replace pressure hose (2)
Parts: Pressure hose
- Connect pressure hose (2) to differential pressure sensor (4) .
- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
- Guide in and install cover (2) .
- Lock the detents (1)

The detents (1) must engage audibly.
- Replace seal (1)
on catalytic converter.

- Guide in and install differential pressure sensor (4) .

Parts: Pressure hose
- Connect pressure hose (2) to differential pressure sensor (4) .
- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
- Guide in and install cover (2) .
- Lock the detents (1)

The detents (1) must engage audibly.
