Disconnecting the delivery unit

- When working on the fuel system, make sure the workstation has sufficient ventilation, e.g., by means of extraction.
- Tightly seal off open lines and connections; collect any leakage fuel directly at the point of exit.
- No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.

Collect and dispose of emerging fluids. Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

- Turn the sealing cap (2) of the floor panel at the plastic tabs (1) in the direction of arrow.
- If turning is not possible: Damage the sealing cap (2) of the floor panel.
- Remove the sealing cap (2) of the floor panel.
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Press the snap fastener toward the delivery unit.
- Press the locks (1) and (2) together in the direction of arrow and disconnect the snap fastener in the direction of arrow.
