Check the roller sunblind and the glass roof for function

Damage to the sun blind rollers .
After the installation an initialized sun blind roller can be damaged during the first start-up .

- Perform initialization before start-up.
- Connect the connector (1)
with the Roof function center (FZD) (2)

Initialize panorama glass roof
- Close all doors.
- Operate the START-STOPPING button three times within 0.8 s.
- Actuate and hold the switch in the "Lift" direction.
- In the event of a delayed start or sudden stop of the panorama glass sunroof: Keep the switch pressed in the "Lift" direction.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
If the switch is released in the meantime, restart the initialization. - Keep pressing the switch during the entire procedure (approx. 50 s):
- The initialization starts about 15 s after keystroke.
- The glass sunroof and roller sunblind will each be completely opened and closed.
The initialization is complete when the glass sunroof and the roller sunblinds are completely closed. The button can then be released.
- Carry out functional check (one-touch mode, anti-trapping protection and, if necessary, comfort function).
- Clear fault memory in FZD control unit.
- Disconnect the connector (1)
at the Roof function center (FZD) (2)
