51 21 280 Removing and installing/replacing door stop on left or right front door (2' Series coupe and convertible, 2017-2021)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Close door windows
Refer to REMOVING SOUND INSULATION in front area

NOTE: After disengaging door stop, use suitable means of preventing door from opening past its maximum permissible opening angle (risk of damaging paintwork or bodywork).

NOTE: Secure front door against falling closed.

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque 51 21 3AZ .

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 51 21 5AZ .

Installation note:

Hinge (1) and thread (2) on door stop (3) must not be damaged.
