Removing and installing or replacing trim for rear lid (4' Series Gran Coupe Sedan)
Special tools required:
- 00 9 325
When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear storage shelf
- REMOVE COVER FOR SIDE REAR WINDOW FRAME
- Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT on tailgate
- Remove TAILGATE PUSH-BUTTON
Open cover (1) and release screw underneath.
Open cover for warning triangle.
Unclip warning triangle and release screw (2).
F36 Only: Release screws (3).
Unclip tailgate trim at marked areas with special tool 00 9 325.
Remove tailgate trim.
Installation note:
Clips (2) and guides (3) on tailgate trim (1) must not be missing or damaged.
Replacement:
Remount clips (2).
