Removing and installing/replacing tailgate lock (4' Series Gran Coupe Sedan)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove TOP COVER FROM TAIL PANEL 

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 24 1AZ .

Feed out rear lid lock (2) in direction of arrow.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Unhook Bowden cable (2) on tailgate lock (3).

Installation note: 

Perform a function check of tailgate lock with the tailgate open.

Concluding tasks:

• ADJUST REAR LID LOCK
