REP-TAT-P-3213-01-F30 Remove the electromechanical steering gear

• Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
• Loosen and remove the screws (2).
• Carefully remove the electromechanical steering gear towards the front.

Check 

• Check plug connection for moisture and corrosion.
• Check the access line for damage.

Result 

» Plug connection is moist or corroded.

The insulation of the line is damaged.

Measure

• If the insulation of the access line is damaged: Partially replace the access line.

  If the insulation of the access line is not damaged: Replace the contacts or the connector housing.
