17 11 006 Removing and installing low-temperature cooling system radiator (B48)

WARNING: Risk of scalding!
Only carry out repair work on the cooling system when the engine has cooled down.

Recycling

Catch and dispose of escaping coolant in a suitable collecting vessel.

Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

CAUTION: Wear safety goggles and protective gloves.

Follow the instructions:

Observe the NOTES on repair work on the cooling system.

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove the HIGH-TEMPERATURE RADIATOR .

Removal:

Unlock and loosen the locks (1).

Guide out low-temperature radiator (2) and remove.

Installation:

Guide in low-temperature radiator (2) and install.

Locks (1) must latch audibly into place.

Install the HIGH-TEMPERATURE RADIATOR .
