REP-TAT-P-5148-01 Removing the sound insulation from the front door
Preliminary work
- Remove the FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR HANDLE COVER
- Remove the SWITCH TRIM ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL
- Remove the FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL ON LEFT OR RIGHT

- Use a suitable, sharp cutting tool (3) to cut through the sealing bead (1) of the sound insulation (2) in the corresponding area to be loosened.
- Make sure when cutting through the sealing bead (1) not to damage the sound insulation (2) and the cables.
- Observe the position of the sealing bead (1).
- Remove the sound insulation (2) from the cable (3) and put to one side.
