51 13 220 Removing and installing/replacing middle trim strip on rear lid

Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Release screws (1) on inside of rear lid.

Unlock and disconnect plug connection (2) - rear lid actuation button and plug connection (3) - reversing camera.

NOTE: Illustration originates from F01

Carefully release trim strip (1) from tailgate (2) downwards with special tool 00 9 317 and remove.

Installation note:

If necessary, replace damaged plastic clamps (3).
