Install the acoustic cover for the oil sump

• Install sound insulation (1)  towards front upwards.

• Secure sound insulation (3)  with the expanding rivets (arrows).
• Connect the positive battery cable (1)  to the starter motor.
• Connect the terminal 50 cable to the starter motor.

• Push up positive battery cable (1)  to sound insulation (2). 
• Bring the anti-twist lock (3)  of the positive battery cable (1)  to the starter motor up to the limit position (4). 
• Tighten nut (5). 
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Battery positive lead to starter
  M8	Tightening torque	13.5 Nm

• Insert and install terminal (7)  on the starter motor.
• Tighten nut (6).

  Terminal 50 to starter motor
  M6	Tightening torque	7 Nm

• Position the positive battery cable (1)  against the sound insulation (2). 

  Otherwise, the positive battery cable (1)  may rub against the underbody protection.

• Position the connecting rod (1)  and tighten the bolts (arrows).
