With the ignition off and the high-voltage safety plug disconnected, the Check Control message "High voltage system faulty" is displayed by default.
The message "High-voltage system switched off" (absence of voltage) is only displayed when the ignition is switched on.

- Unlock and loosen coolant line (1).
- Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.
- Remove screws (arrows).
- Remove the connecting rod (1).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Loosen the holder (2).

- Remove screws (arrows).
- Loosen the high-voltage cable (1).
- Secure the high-voltage cable (1)
using commercially available cable straps (2).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Guide out and remove holder (2).
- Unlock and loosen the locks (1).
- Remove the cable clip (2)
and put to one side.
- Unscrew the nuts (arrows).
- Unlock and loosen clamp (1).
- Remove the protective plate (2).
- Unlock and loosen transmission oil lines (1).
- Catch and dispose of escaping transmission oil.
- Unlock and loosen coolant line (2).
- Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.
- Loosen screw (3).
- Loosen screw (4).
- Feed out the heat exchanger of the automatic transmission (5) and remove.
