51 33 000 Removing and installing / replacing power window regulator in left or right front door

WARNING: Danger of injury!
Carry out work on the power window regulator only when the power window motor is de-energized.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove FRONT DOOR WINDOW GLASS .

Slacken bolt (1).

Tightening torque 51 33 3AZ .

Release screws (4).

Tightening torque 51 33 2AZ .

Unfasten plug connection (3) and disconnect.

Installation note:

Holder (2) must be correctly seated on inner door panel rail.

Removal of power window regulator:

Feed out left-hand window lift rail
Feed out right-hand window lift rail

Installation note:

Make sure the guide lug (2) of the power window (1) is correctly seated in recess of door structure.

Concluding tasks

Observe NOTES ON INITIALIZING POWER WINDOW REGULATOR .

Replacement:

Swap over FLAT MOTOR FOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR .
