51 47 152 Removing and installing/replacing left luggage compartment wheel arch trim

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Removal:

Equipment specification with lashing eye:

Lever out cover (1) and release screw underneath.

Remove lashing eye (2).

Release screws (1).

Remove operating lever (2) downwards.

Remove emergency operation (1) and detach cable.

Release clamps (2).

Feed out wheel arch panel (3).

Installation:

Thread in wheel arch panel (3).

Mount clips (2).

NOTE: Replace faulty clips (2).

Attach cable and install emergency operation (1).

Install operating lever (2).

Tighten down screws (1).

Equipment specification with lashing eye:

Install lashing eye (2) and tighten down bolt.

Tightening torque: 51 47 1AZ .

Mount cover (1).
