51 43 075 Removing and installing/replacing side trim panel, footwell, on A-pillar, right

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove DOOR SILL COVER STRIP, FRONT (INSIDE)  right
• Remove trim for instrument panel at bottom right. See REPLACING BOTTOM RIGHT INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM .

Detach edge protection (1) in area of side trim (3).

Release clips (2) in direction of arrow.

Pull out side trim panel (3) from carpet.

Installation: 

Following parts of side trim panel (4) must not be damaged or missing:

1. Clips
2. Insulating mat
3. Tabs (for inserting in carpet)
