13 71... Removing acoustic covers (N57 D30 O/T 1)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Only if rear acoustic cover needs to removed:
Remove INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .
Only if sound insulation on injector needs to be removed:
Partially detach rear acoustic cover.
Only if front acoustic cover needs to removed:
Remove FAN COWL .
Only if bottom acoustic cover needs to removed:
Remove front UNDERBODY PROTECTION .

Remove REINFORCEMENT PLATE .

Remove rear acoustic cover:

Release expanding rivets (1).

Release vacuum lines (2) from clamps and set to one side.

Remove rear acoustic cover (3).

Remove sound insulation on injectors:

Remove sound insulation (1) upwards.

Remove front acoustic cover:

Release screws (1).

Remove acoustic cover at front.

Slacken nut (1).

Tightening torque 12 52 1AZ .

Slacken nut (2).

Tightening torque 12 52 3AZ .

Lay cable to one side.

Release expanding rivets (1).

Remove bottom acoustic cover (2).
