13 71 000 Removing/replacing intake silencer housing (N57 D30 O/T 1)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Release connector (1) on hot film air mass meter and disconnect.

Detach the intake port (2) from the intake silencer housing.

Release screw (3).

Tightening torque 13 71 5AZ .

Release clamp (4).

Tightening torque 13 71 4AZ .

Detach intake silencer housing (5) from rubber mounts in upward direction. Feed out intake silencer housing (5) in upward direction and remove.

Assemble engine.
