28 10 020 Removing and installing or replacing combination sensor (GS7D36SG)

IMPORTANT:
After completion of repair work, check TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL

Use only the approved TRANSMISSION OIL .
Failure to comply with this instruction will result in serious damage to the twin-clutch gearbox.

IMPORTANT:
Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD PROTECTION)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove TWIN-CLUTCH GEARBOX .
- Remove CLUTCH .
Release screw (1).
Tightening torque: 6 Nm
Release combination sensor (2) from housing.
Disconnect connector (3).
Installation note:
Replace screw.
IMPORTANT:
Do not
where possible release cable (4) from bracket (5).
Installation note:
If bracket (5) does have to be released, replace aluminium screw (6).
Tightening torque: 5 Nm
IMPORTANT:
To disconnect the combination sensor connector:
Press lock together in area (1) and simultaneously detach connector.
Press lock together in area (1) and simultaneously detach connector.
